Celtic leading the race for European striker
This would be a very exciting move for the club
Although there is still plenty for Celtic to achieve this season, with the team still in the race for the Scottish Premiership and in the Scottish Cup final, we are at that time of the season when people are looking ahead to the transfer window.
Even at this stage, there are plenty of rumours and plenty of gossip. Well, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, via CeltsAreHere, the Hoops are leading the race to sign Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt
He says that title rivals Hearts are also pushing for the striker, but he believes that Celtic currently “hold the advantage”.
This would certainly be an interesting and exciting signing. The striker scored 17 goals in 28 league games last season and has scored three times in seven this campaign (calendar-year schedule). In the UEFA Champions League this season, he scored five goals and provided three assists in 12 games, scoring against Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, and Sporting.
At 25, he is a player with a lot of development and experience under his belt, but you would have thought he still has his best years ahead of him. Let’s wait and see.
